RIT Acceptance Rate, SAT/ACT Scores

Rochester Institute of Technology is a private university with an acceptance rate of 66%. The schools 1,300-acre campus is located just outside of downtown Rochester in a suburban setting. RIT offers over 85 bachelors degree programs through its twelve colleges. RITs programs are largely career-oriented, and the school was one of the first in the country to have a cooperative education program. The institute has a 12-to-1  student/faculty ratio. Admissions Chances Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) is a selective career-oriented university that rejects over a third of its applicants. To get in, applicants will need strong high school grades and standardized test scores, particularly in math.
