He knew and t aught me, well before I knew how to read, so much that I still remember the book The Philadelphia Gazette: A Biography of Benjamin Franklin: A General View, written by my uncle and friend, H.N. McDowell. History books are sometimes a little one-sided and they neglect to tell the entire story of the Revolutionary War. When I finished reading this book, I realized that the writers had not even tried to cover the entire course of events. They only addressed the famous battles that were fought during the Revolution.Reading up on the American Revolution became a habit for me because I was absolutely fascinated by what happened.
